IMFOA memberships run annually from April 1 to April 1. Membership is a vital requirement for maintaining IMFOA certifications. Dues are not prorated for partial years and can be paid via credit card, ACH, or check.
IMFOA offers four individual membership levels:
- Benefitted
- Active
- Retired
- Associate
The annual membership drive begins in the early part of the year, with reminder postcards sent to all members. If dues are not received by April 1, members will lose access to key benefits, including:
- ClerkNet (Benefitted level only)
- Member pricing for IMFOA events and conferences
- Eligibility for certification renewal
